IAP2's Designing Public Participation
-For Young Professionals-
IAP2's Designing Public Participation (P2) explores the designing and planning phases of the IAP2 Practice Framework with real-wold case studies. Participants will gain hands-on experience in P2 principles and frameworks for scoping, community mapping, determining purpose and objectives and levels of influence, choosing appropriate methods and managing resources, while considering the needs of diverse audiences. The course is suitable for practitioners who are leading the planning and implementation of P2 processes.
To support young professionals in their professional development, the cost of the course has been reduced. This means that if you are under the age of 35 or are new to the field, and are signed up as an IAP2 Young Professional, you will receive a $125.00 discount for the course. You do not need to be a member of IAP2 to sign up as an IAP2 Young Professional or to receive the discount. We, of course, welcome all learners, while creating a space for young professionals to flourish!
If you are not currently an IAP2 Young Professional member and would like to be, please sign up using this Google Form.
This course consists of 4-4 hour live sessions and IAP2 requires participants complete the IAP2 Fundamentals in Public Participation prior to taking this course.
